Happy Thanksgiving

Turkey on a stick project!

We made turkey buy tracing our hand on foam paper, then cutting them out, gluing them to a Popsicle stick and then decorating them. We used pom poms for feathers, and the glitter of course!!! We love glitter! The kiddos really enjoyed making their turkeys!! We had a blast!

Seeing Santa Claus for the first time this year!

Sunday, while in Savannah, we went to the Bass Pro Shop. I was walking around upstairs and was completely SURPRISED to see Santa Claus!!!! Of course I ran and got McKenzie and we were watching him talked to the other kids. I was thinking this may be good!!! She just might do it this year! The closer & closer we got to him the tighter she grabbed my neck! I handed her off to Jacob so I could snap a picture as Jacob handed her off to Santa. Well....that didn't work as planned! The closer Jacob got the more she wanted me, so I got her, we sat in Santa Claus's lap talking to him, she looked at him, touched the fur on his suit. I hot up and sat her down in his lap.... haha!!! such a cute picture!!! but it is early! I plan for us to see Santa as MANY times as we possibly can!!!

Pleasant Grove Park 9/29/09

I am really delayed in posting, these are all out of order, but once I get them all caught up....if ever I will put them in date order!!! haha!!! Here are some pictures from McKenzie and I playing at the Pleasant Grove Park. She LOVED playing on the merry go round!!! she was holding on so tight!!!

Turtleneck Dress & Outfit

Here are two outfits I made McKenzie a few weeks ago that she finally got to wear the other day, It still hasn't been too cold here! I got a few pics of her in these. One is a turtleneck dress, that I added fabric & ricrac to. The other is a turtle neck I added some fabric to, and made a top, then bought her some jeans, cut off the bottoms and added the coordinating ruffle!

I know, I know!!! I have LOTS of crafts & hobbies. As the holidays get near it is always more fun to play with new crafts! Here are just a few of the vinyl wall decor that I have done!

Cupcakes & Speghetti!

McKenzie & her friends Ava & Faith enjoyed mommy's homemade speghetti & Mrs. Ally's chocolate cupcakes!!! It is obvious they enjoyed them!

Birmingham Zoo October 3, 2009

McKenzie's first trip to the Birmingham Zoo! She loved riding on the train with Mimi & PawPaw! PawPaw helped her ring the bell after we rode the train. Pawpaw also gave her an ice cream sandwich...her favorite!!!! She loved looking at all the animals!!!

Halloween 2009

Trick or Treating in Shadow Moss with the Wheeler's! We had a blast! McKenzie wanted to give the ghost some candy! It was so sweet. We walked around, and totally wore ourselves out!!! The sweet kiddos had a blast though.

Glitter Tree

Here are some pictures of our Christmas tree in the dinning room. It is "glitter" themed. All the ornaments are glitter and shine so beautiful in the light!!! McKenzie had so much fun putting the ornaments on the tree. She was so serious about it. I LOVED it !!! Since we are doing a real tree this year we can't get our tree up until around Thanksgiving, so I figured this would tie us over until then!

Holly's Senior Night

Aunt Holly's Senior Night! Thanks to PG's HORRIBLE PA system, you couldn't hear them announcing them! I was so mad!!!! I can't believe my little sister is about to graduate.

Pine Cone Christmas Craft

We went searching the yard for huge pine cones, we cleaned them off, let them dry then made them into Christmas trees!!! McKenzie had a blast!!! She loved squeezing the glue onto the pine cone & then putting the glitter all over it. I see many more crafts in our near future!!!

Ennis's Retirement

Saturday we went to Savannah to see Jacob's 2nd Cousin Ennis Hager retire from United States Air Force/ Georgia Air National Guard he served 32 years.

We had a great time listening to people talk about all their great memories of Ennis.

Share your Chili DADDY!!!

I had fixed chili the other day and McKenzie had already had a plate! Well when daddy got home & was ready to eat she went to him and wanted him to pick her up, so she could sit in his lap. She was hilarious! The pictures tell all!!!

Date Night!

Thanks to a WONDERFUL friend, Jacob and I went out on a date Saturday night! WE had som much fun going out to dinner at Truffles! I had Mahi Mahi and Jacob had Grouper! It was wonderful. McKenzie had a great time staying with Mrs. Missy and playing with her precious little kiddos!

Mommy's Birthday Novemeber 5th

Birthday dinner with my sweet family! They sang happy birthday to me in Spanish!!! McKenzie LOVED it when they put the hat on me!! We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday :)

A Playdate!

McKenzie, Aiden & Claire had a blast playing in MC's tent, running through the tunnel and going on a wagon ride~ These kiddos are precious!!!

Trick or Treating on Bay Street!

On Thursday we went trick or treating down on Bay Street! We took Lily and walked up and down bay. McKenzie was so excited to see the fire truck!!! She wanted to get in it sooooo bad, but was scared at first, then finally she got up in it!! She loaded up on candy and had a great time !!

Chick-fil-a Costume Breakfast!

We went to costume breakfast on Halloween morning. McKenzie was Cinderella, we gave the bumble bee a rest ! haha! She had a blast, playing in the play place and then outside in the bounce house with daddy! They had a professional photographer there taking pictures as well!
